The connection flow

Connect in three steps.

Start from your assistant. Approve in LetRetro. Stay in control of the boards it can read and change.

  1. 01 / Your assistant

    Add the remote server

Use the LetRetro URL in your assistant's MCP settings or CLI. Start authentication from that assistant.

  2. 02 / LetRetro in your browser

    Sign in and choose access

Select eligible workspaces or personal boards. Start read-only, or explicitly allow changes.

  3. 03 / Back to your assistant

    Ask about your retros

Every request respects the access you approved and your existing board permissions.

Put it to work

From feedback to a next step.

Try a prompt in your assistant. Include the workspace or board so it knows where to look.

Find the recurring friction

Read only

“Use LetRetro to search our Engineering workspace for cards about deployment delays. Group the recurring themes and link back to the source boards.”

search_cards · get_board_cards

Catch up before the retro

Read only

“Use LetRetro to summarize activity in our Engineering workspace over the last seven days, including cards, comments and polls.”

get_activity_summary · list_polls

Turn a discussion into a decision

Read and write

“On our Sprint 42 board in LetRetro, create a poll asking what we should focus on next: deployment speed, test stability or review turnaround.”

get_board · create_poll

Bring the retro into your next sprint

Read and write

“Use LetRetro to generate a summary report for our Sprint 42 board, then check the report job until it finishes.”

generate_report · get_job_status

If you approved more than one workspace, ask your assistant to list the available contexts first. It can use get_connection_context to find them.

Access & usage

A clear boundary
around your boards.

Connecting an assistant preserves your existing board permissions. It only reaches the workspaces and personal boards you approve.

Review your connections
Workspace boards
The workspace owner needs Pro. Members can connect with free accounts and use boards they already have access to.
Personal boards
Your own Pro plan lets you approve personal boards you own or have joined outside a workspace.
Read only by default
Reading and searching are available with read-only access. Creating boards, cards, comments, polls or reports requires read-and-write approval.

20,000requests per Pro billing period

Shared across the Pro owner's workspaces and personal boards. Tool calls and resource reads can use this allowance; a conversation can make multiple requests. Connection discovery, profile and workspace listing are free.
